The Jostedals Glacier in Sogn og Fjordane is the largest ice-cap in Northern Europe. It is the playground among skiers and ice-climbers. In april and may it is popular to ski on the snow covered ice-cap. During summer, the crampons are used for walking and climbing at the glacier-arms in Western Norway. There are easy access to the glacier from many surrounding valleys. Several companies are guiding at the glaciers in western Norway.
