Michelin Keys – Recommended hotels in Western Norway

In 2025, the Michelin Guide introduced its new hotel recognition system – Michelin Keys. Where Michelin Stars celebrate world-class dining experiences, the Michelin Key is a seal of quality for hotels that offer something extra – places that combine comfort, character and a real sense of presence.
One Key means that the hotel provides a “a very special stay”, two Keys stand for “an exceptional stay”, and three Keys mark “an extraordinary stay”.
Several hotels in Western Norway have received the prestigious award – and they reflect the best the region has to offer: raw and beautiful nature, warm hospitality and consistent quality.
Here you will find a list of recommended hotels in Western Norway with Michelin Keys and hotels featured by the Michelin Guide. The list is in chronological order from north to south.
