The hike to Einangsetra is short and easy hike with great view. It is a hike that takes you around 40 minutes to walk.

GRADING – Medium. ALTITUDE DIFFERENCE – This hike starts at approximately 315 masl (Parking at Skorgedalen). Highest point at approximately 450 masl.

SEASON – Mid June to Mid September, these are approximate dates that depends on the weather, temperature and the amount of snow in the mountains.

SAFETY IN THE MOUNTAINS – You should follow the Norwegian Mountain Code when hiking in Norway. It can change from summer and sunny weather to winter and frost in minutes! Always check the Weather Forecast before you go hiking. For safety reasons it is recommended to avoid hiking in Thunderstorms, in fog, in bad weather and when it is snow and ice on the trail and in the mountain! Always bring good clothes and hiking shoes. And have enough food and water in your rucksack.

Drive nine kilometers west from the center of Isfjorden. Turn to the right at Vikabukta and drive up the toll road to the parking lot at Skorgedalen.

The hike to Einangsetra starts from the parking lot at Skorgedalen. Cross the bridge and follow the gravel road eastwards to the end. The trail is marked from here to Einangsetra. The hike is easy and will take you around 40 minutes.

You walk in the forest until you reach Einangsetra and can enjoy the wiew towards the Romsdalsfjord, Åndalsnes, the Romsdalen Valley and the surrounding mountains like Romsdalshorn and the Troll Wall (Trollveggen).
