Western Norway is known for its dramatic scenery, fjords and mountains – but also for world-class dining experiences. Here you will find several of Norway’s best restaurants, honored with stars in the prestigious Michelin Guide.

Michelin stars are awarded not only for perfect food, but for the whole experience – the taste, technique, ingredients and personality behind each dish. In Western Norway, this is often about local ingredients, fresh seafood from the fjords and coast, and chefs who let nature inspire the menu.

Whether you enjoy fresh fish caught from the same fjord you are sitting by, or enjoy a multi-course menu in a modern city restaurant, Western Norway’s Michelin restaurants offer a true taste of the place – and a culinary journey you will never forget.
